National Urban Policy Action Council (NuPAC), headquartered in Detroit, Michigan is a political, civic and citizen action, research and community empowerment organization whose mission is to promote fiscally responsible compassionate conservative public policies.  This is based on the philosophy of promoting grassroots civic responsibility, educational preparedness, and free enterprise, strengthening urban neighborhoods as well as communities of faith while supporting responsible government, traditional American values and empowering Americans with information and tools for success.

An additional mandate for NuPac is to support conservative policy issues important to candidates for local, statewide and national office who believe in specific public policies for strengthening our urban communities.  

NuPac accomplishes this mission by researching, studying, formulating and promoting public policy initiatives and effectively communicating these findings to its target audiences -- including minority communities, members of state Congressional delegations, Congressional staff, state legislators and officials, Administration officials, policy makers in the Executive Branch in Washington DC and local and national news media.
